With a deep sadness, our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother Manuela (Nela) Rocha, who passed away on December 6 at the age of 92. Nela was the heart of our home and of our family and was loved by all she knew. 

Nela leaves her legacy through her children Alma Rosa Driskell, Armando Garcia, Karina Fajardo, her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and a large, loving extended family. A service will be held at St Pius V Catholic Church in Chicago, IL at 10:00am on December 13, 2025. Additional services will be held at Sanctuary of Guadalupe in Monclova, Coahuila at 4:00pm on December 20, 2025.

Con profunda tristeza, nuestra familia anuncia el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela, Manuela (Nela) Rocha, quien falleció el 6 de diciembre a la edad de 92 años. Nela fue el corazón de nuestro hogar y de nuestra familia, y fue querida por todos sus conocidos.

Nela deja su legado a través de sus hijos Alma Rosa Driskell, Armando García, Karina Fajardo, sus queridos nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos, y una numerosa y amorosa familia. El servicio religioso se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica San Pío V en Chicago, Illinois, a las 10:00 a. m. del 13 de diciembre de 2025. Se realizarán servicios adicionales en el Santuario de GuadalupeMonclova, Coahuila, a las 4:00 p. m. del 20 de diciembre de 2025.
