Mark Stephen cummins

 November 28, 1954 - September 1, 2025

 Mark Stephen Cummins, 70, of Chicago, passed from us on September 1 at his home in Garden Homes. He was born on November 28, 1954, the son of Gene and Kay Cummins. Mark was a master craftsman, an accomplished gardener and dog trainer, and a champion of labor.

Mark is survived by his former wife, Wendy; his companion, Mariana; his children, Rob, D’enny, Corryn (Nicholas) and Shane (Adele); his grandchildren Calvin and Vera; his sisters, Chris (Al,) Claudia (Craig,) Cathy (Mike,) Carla (Bob,) Connie (Ken,) Carol, and his brother, Matt (Laura.) He is held in the hearts of his dozens of nieces and nephews, and cherished in memory by his lifelong friends.

Mark was preceded from mortality by his brother, Michael (Debbie,) and his sister, Julie (Mike.)

A celebration of his life will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 27th at Blue Island Beer Co. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the American Civil Liberties Union.
